OK, enough!

May brings flowers, but it is also the harbinger of summer, and summer means a few things to IAMA—festival season looms on the horizon, and our Local Concert Series and Coffeehouses go on hiatus until September falls into autumn. The Ogden festival is only a month away, and the Gallivan Festival will be here before we know it, so buckle up, hang on, and let’s have a divinely musical summer!

2nd Annual IAMMY Awards

On April 20^th, The Intermountain Acoustic Music Association (IAMA) held its second annual Members’ Choice Awards (The IAMMYs) gala. There was an amazing feeling of community as lovers of acoustic music reveled in the joy of acknowledging their favorite local artists in many of the acoustic music genres.

2013 IAMA Songwriter's Academy

The 6^th Annual IAMA Songwriter Academy on July 19-20, 2013 to be held at the Gallivan Center in conjunction with the IAMA Free Folk and Bluegrass festival this year. Instructors have been chosen. Steve Seskin is returning for a 5^th year. He will be joined by Kate MacLeod and Amy Speace. See I.A.M.A.
